My name is Kyle (last name removed for privacy reasons). I have been using cash back cards since I first heard about the Discover card sometime around 1990 when I was in college. I have both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of California. I have worked in data analysis for eight years and in financial services sales for four years. I bring an analyst’s mind to my reviews, but with an ear to what will make sense to the common person.

I am passionate about financial literacy, I’ve taught classes to my coworkers about financial goals and plans. I believe everyone should have six month’s expenses socked away just in case and I believe you should always pay your highest-interest debt off first. I also believe there’s always someone (or several companies) out there trying to gain market share by paying out cash rewards or giving credit for 0% interest, and that savvy consumers can take advantage of this for their own benefit.
